Returns Policy

At Álainn Home & Garden Solutions Ltd, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you change your mind, you have the right to return most items in accordance with Irish and European Union consumer protection law.

Change of Mind Returns

You may return most items within 14 days of receiving your order.

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in its original condition.

  • The item must be returned in its original packaging.

  • You must contact us before returning the item.

Unless the item is faulty, damaged or supplied in error, return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.

How to Request a Return

Before returning an item, please contact us with:

  • Your order number.

  • The item(s) you wish to return.

  • The reason for the return.

Returns received without prior contact may be delayed or refused.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

Unless faulty or not as described, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Special order items.

  • Custom or made to order products.

  • Products that have been installed, used or altered.

Where applicable, these items will be clearly identified before purchase.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please provide photographs where possible.

Depending on the circumstances, we will arrange:

  • A repair.

  • A replacement.

  • A full or partial refund.

This will always be handled in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

Refunds

Once returned goods have been received and inspected, approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

Refunds are normally processed within 5 to 10 working days.

Original delivery charges will only be refunded where required by consumer law or where the item supplied was faulty or incorrect.

Cancelling an Order

If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where an order has not yet entered the fulfilment process, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund.

If an item becomes unexpectedly unavailable before dispatch, we will contact you promptly and offer either:

  • A suitable alternative product, where available, or

  • A full refund.

Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Returns Policy limits or affects your statutory rights under Irish or European Union consumer protection legislation.
