STIHL’s AP System is suitable for large gardens and professional use and was built for prolonged use. The shell only does not include any battery or charger, but may be desirable if you already have a compatible battery and charger from another STIHL machine, otherwise a battery and charger must be purchase separately. The recommended227 Wh AP 300 Lithium-ion battery allows for 21 minutes of blowing time and features a charge-level LED indicator for convenience. When combined with the AL 300 charging unit it will complete an 80% charge in 40 minutes and a full 100% charge in 55 minutes. For maximum efficiency, the battery is compatible with all garden power tools with the STIHLAP System.
